i bought a new pc it has vista 64bit, and 2142 was running fine, the i went to the bfhq to check my stats and the game crashed, since then when i try to launch the game nothing happens i have erased everything 4 times run registry cleaners but every time i re-install same problem the game does not recognize my pc ram thats why i assume it wont run thinks i dont have enough ram. if anyone has an idea that can help please and thank you.

have u tried running the game in compatibility mode for 32 bit?

i run on vista 64 bit and hell a hella time getting it running...what comp is it and what specs

fyi, there is an awards bug where you CTD when you try and check Awards in-game. I just don't anymore. EA Forums might have some help on this specific problem.

this is the exact pc i bought and added a 9800gt video card, no havnt tried comp with 32bit gonna try that now, but it was running fine till sunday nite im about to try a sytem restore.

also, check forums for registry settings, some programs are real finicky in vista, and wont even run if you dont set admin abilities, the game may have reset something in there, in which case a system restore should fix you right up

If it doesn't work in game, just use the award tracker here on the site. It gives so much more information easily, at least for your own stats. Just not comparison stats.

thats not the issue, if im readin correctly, his game wont start at all now...

See the link that Riccochet gave me. In there is information about making a bat file that deletes the Pace anti-piracy keys. I still have to use that batch file from time to time to get the game to run again.
