Darkness theme updated - Problem with CMS

I just updated to the new version of the Darkness theme, but there's a problem with the CMS now. Right column is missing. I've posted a message on the author's website to see if he knows why this would happen. Also, the What's New listing doesn't seem to be showing correctly yet either, so hopefully he can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

EDIT* Seems the What's New listing problem is a theme problem, as it happens on his site too.

I've managed to get back to a similar layout, for some reason the updated Darkness theme doesn't support three columns. For now it's two columns and a sidebar. Though I need to fiddle with it because the two columns are liquid where as a sidebar isn't so we shall see what I come up with

banners seem to be loading very slowly for me again too...do we want to go down to maybe one per month?
