i am a girl. i play video games. for many guys, this is like a holy grail of video gaming. *gasp* to think that a girl, with boobs, lol, acutally games and is sometimes good is mind blowing.

aside from the sexist, borderline to not so borderline harassment and sometimes down right rude comments, life as a girl gamer isn't too bad. to be fair, i try to give as good as i get whenever things get lippy. but at the end of the day, sometimes i wish i were just another regular "guy." ...

Love at first taste. Talk about a cheap thrill too.

First of all, this just an opinion piece, you can disagree, agree or make any side comments. I'm no FPS guru and I'm no hard core gamer. Im not even a blogger. I was just driving to work and this sort of crept in to my random thoughts. One more disclaimer, I havent picked up the BF:BC2 demo but its on my radar to buy one this week.


What do I want in a FPS game? Read below. The more of these, the better the game will be in my opinion.

2 weeks ago, I left work around 7 PM. It was a long day and I wanted to get home. When I walked to the car I found a business card on the windshield. It was from a person who worked in another company (its a shared parking lot). Thinking it was some marketing tactic, I pocketed the card and jumped in the car.

Early the next day, a mass email was sent around looking for the owner of a specific car. That car happened to be mine. Right away, I knew that the business card I had in my pocket ...

In this time of economic hardship and crap. I find myself more than ever needing distraction from life. While I haven't personally picked up my xbox controller to play a game in over a month, I do as most of you know frequent my PC and play COD4,OFPR and GuildWars.

Which leads me to my personal debate. If I had $50-60 to spare, which game would bring me the most bang for my buck? What game would help me forget my financial irresponsibility of buying a game on my meager income? ...
